UK Manufacturing
Dams Furniture is a privately owned and proud UK manufacturer and wholesaler of office furniture, operating from one large site in Knowsley, Merseyside.
Our new £4.5M upholstery factory (which opened at the start of 2019) marked the start of the next phase of Dams’ development as a business.
The new 85,000 sq. ft (7,900 sq. m) building consolidated the four sites that Dams previously operated from on Knowsley Industrial Park into one larger site which brings all our manufacturing and assembly together on one full site alongside our head office, showroom, warehouse and distribution centre.
Further investment
During 2019 there has also been a further £2.3M investment in new machinery in the wood factory and upholstery factory, with a new state-of-the-art Pathfinder CNC fabric cutting machine, a combination edge bander, a wood saw, and new BAZ shaping and edging machine, as Dams continue to invest in the best equipment available to support their UK manufacturing operations.
